Chicago Catholic Scripture School Information Night - August 17, 2017
At the request of the Office of Lifelong Formation at the Archdiocese of Chicago, the Institute of Pastoral Studies (IPS) of Loyola University Chicago became the new home for the Chicago Catholic Scripture School (CCSS) in the fall of 2017. We are excited to announce that St. Benedict has been chosen to be one of the host sites for this school!
On August 17, 2017, from 7 pm-8:30 pm in Beaven Hall, come and learn about classes to be offered this Fall that will provide an in-depth knowledge of the Bible within a Roman Catholic framework. Parishioner leaders, catechists, parish staffs, and anyone wishing to deepen their understanding of scripture will benefit from this program.
What are some of the benefits of Bible Study?

*Interpret the Bible and its social justice dimensions
*Become a more effective leader
*Obtain Biblical formation for religious education
*Step toward professional leadership in your parish
*Enrich your personal spiritual and liturgical life
Students may take courses toward certification or they may audit as St. Jerome Scholars. IPS will provide certificates of completion for students (excluding St. Jerome Scholars) who complete the two-year Basic or four-year Advanced programs.
