6:OO PM: Blessing of the Fest Bier followed by Masskrugstemmen

Fr. Tom will lead our opening prayer with the blessing of the beer and the committee toast. The Masskrugstemmen AKA Beer Stein Holding contest follows! Twelve lucky contenders will press their luck by hoisting large glass beer steins in the air. No spilt beer, lowering or bent elbows allowed. Can you beat the national record of over 21 mins? New this year is one contest for the men and one for ladies. The last person in each contest standing will be the ultimate champion! Besides bragging rites, each winner will receive a vintage stein courtesy of the Oktoberfest committee

SATURDAY

1-2 PM: (JUST OUTSIDE THE MAIN TENT BEHIND THE BART TENT) PRESCHOOL PLAYGROUND PLAY DATE: (Ages 4 & Under) Keep your preschooler active while enjoying the Oktoberfest atmosphere! Playdate On The Playground is a New & Exclusive event hosted by Ms. Ashley Foster from St. Benedict Prep Admissions Office, all families are welcome. Children must be 4 years old and under and accompanied by a parent. No older siblings please. This is a great opportunity to mix and mingle with other parents and kids of preschool age.  Cost: Free

2:30 PM: GERMAN COSTUME CONTEST Time to bust out your lederhosen or your dirndl dress. Show off your best German attire, and let the crowd decide who wore it best! Prizes for each category: Men, Ladies, and Kids

6:30 PM: PRETZEL EATING CONTEST Who can finish a pretzel hanging in the air with their hands behind their back? If you, can step right up. Winner receives a gift card prize!

SUNDAY

3 PM: YODELING CONTEST Join us for a celebration of culture, fun, and an exhilarating showcase of vocal acrobatics! Yodeling, an art form rooted deep in the heart of the German Alps, holds a mesmerizing charm that has captivated the world for centuries. We are looking for ten brave mountain singers to a stretch their vocals from soul-stirring lows to spine-tingling highs. Whatever way you yodel is totally up to Youooouuuuuu!


GYM ACTIVITIES

Fri 4-7PM, Sat 2-7PM, Sun 2-6PM: HOOLIGAN DICE GAME An Oktoberfest staple, Hooligan dice is sure to keep your family busy throughout the weekend. Players have a chance to win, ultimate prizes based upon their dice roll. Roll a “Hooligan”, and you will be entered to win a Grand Prize!! Play as many times as you like to try and win – BIG!! Cost: 1 ticket / play.

Fri 4-5PM: DANCE PARTY WITH MRS. JOHNSON Back by VERY popular demand we bring you some bitty-bopping’. Your little folks will love jamming out with our lower school music teacher Mrs. Johnson! Cost: Free.

Fri & Sat 6-9 PM: KARAOKE WITH DJ MIKE Come and sing with your friends your favorite songs. DJ Mike promises to make this dance party fun with contests and more! Cost: Free

Fri 4-7 PM, Sat 3-6PM, Sun 2-5 PM: FACE PAINTING Let your creative side show! Our talented face painters will create a variety of artistic images for you to display throughout the festival. Cost: 3 tickets.

Sat 3-7 PM: SIZZLE PHOTO BOOTH Come and take great fun pictures with your friends at the photo booth provided by Sizzle! Cost: 5 tickets

Sat 4-5 PM: CIRQUE EXPERIENCE Come and tryout being a circus performer on the Big Wheel taught by high-skilled coaches. Cost: 10 tickets
